SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- March 6, 2006 -- Omneon Video Networks today announced that it has appointed Iain Wood as regional sales manager primarily responsible for the rapidly developing broadcast market in India. With the addition of Mr. Wood, Omneon will be able to focus more directly on the Indian market, supporting existing Omneon customers in the region while also working to make Omneon media server and storage solutions the first choice for Indian broadcasters.

Mr. Wood previously served as sales manager for OmniBus Systems, where he managed the India and Middle East regions and built a reputation for developing new regions and gaining sales successes in those areas. He joined OmniBus in 1998 from Drake Automation.

Mr. Wood will be based out of Omneon's expanded EMEA headquarters now located in Hampshire, U.K. He will report directly to Mr. Hoskin.
