Omneon Networked Content Servers Run Partner Applications Throughout NAB Show Floor

Las Vegas, Nevada -- April 21, 2001

NAB SHOW - Omneon Video Networks is announcing several new application partnerships at NAB 2001, as the company continues to grow its control, transmission, media management, archive, and collaborative production applications. Working in conjunction with leading third-party companies, Omneon (North Hall, Booth L529) will exhibit a wide range of applications that can both control and be integrated with its Networked Content Server.

Throughout the NAB show, the following companies will display their applications in conjunction with an Omneon Networked Content Server:

  • Ascential Software (Sands, Booth 16457) will display the Media360™ Asset Management application using a Philips automation system and content from an Omneon system.
  • Chyron/Pro-Bel(South Hall, Booth L12300) will highlight their play-to-air automation applications.
  • Compu-Sat (Mobile Area, Booth MM213) will demonstrate satellite acquisition and playout.
  • Crispin (South Hall, Booth L12568) will offer a play-to-air automation application. ETC (Booth L1269) will show record and playback automation of news segments, promos and commercials.
  • FAST (Sands, Booth S4817) will highlight DV-native editing and media management across IEEE 1394.
  • Florical Systems (North Hall, Booth L1317) is demonstrating play-to-air automation.
  • Harris (South Hall, Booth L5023) will show multi-channel automation and play-to-air applications.
  • IBIS (North Hall, Booth L1115) will display their Sprint TX™ application for news, sports and play-to-air automation.
  • Nverzion (South Hall, Booth L11664) will highlight play-to-air applications that include automation, archiving and asset management.
  • Smart Storage (North Hall, Booth L165) will demonstrate archive management in conjunction with Harris Automation.
  • Sundance Digital (North Hall, Booth L1355) will show automation applications for satellite record, play-to-air and browsing
