Omneon Video Networks Continues Market Expansion With Opening of New Tokyo Office

Omneon Video Networks today announced that the company has opened an office in Tokyo. The new office will establish a local Omneon presence in Japan, enabling the company to better meet the growing demand for its products there while providing local support functions for Omneon customers throughout the country.

Initial staff for the Tokyo office will include Mr. Yasuyuki Yoshida in the position of sales engineer and Ms. Kay Yamashita who will fill the business development role. Mr. Yoshida will provide technical sales assistance as well as technical support to existing customers. Ms. Yamashita will lead direct sales efforts as well as have responsibility for establishing and maintaining key business relationships with systems integrators and dealers in the region.
