Omneon Video Networks today announced that SAV, a provider of professional broadcast equipment, has joined Omneon's worldwide network of system integrators. SAV serves the French market and as an Omneon system integrator will promote, sell, support and service the complete line of Omneon solutions.

Building on its recent successes in Europe and in France and to strengthen the company's presence in this area, Omneon recently announced the opening of Omneon Video Networks France based in Paris. The subsidiary, led by François Cavalade oversees sales, marketing, support, and partnership development in French-speaking Europe and Africa.  "We're very pleased to welcome SAV to our network of system integrators in France" said Mr. Cavalade, Regional Manager for Omneon France. "We look forward to building on SAV’s recent achievement in integrating Omneon products in a key integration project in this market."

SAV recently sold its first Omneon server in France as part of a full system integration including Harris Automation and Front Porch Digital archive solutions. During the integration, the server demonstrated outstanding capabilities in interfacing to the external environment, both in video and files transfer. The server configuration includes 3TB of storage and 19 realtime I/0 ports.
