Omneon product, workflow and solution experts are available to provide a an array of Technical Consulting Services to support system architecture discussions for the requirements definition phase, systems or workflow design, advanced system technical discussions and system design. Omneon Technical Consulting Services personnel will coordinate closely with a customers' own process design and operational staff, system integrator and other suppliers as required, ensuring a coherent engagement process.
Omneon network services are tailored specifically for broadcast customers that require high-availability of services for the purpose of ingesting, transferring, editing, airing and archiving video assets in the fastest way possible while minimizing dropped frames and down time. Omneon Network System Engineers are CCNA/CCNP Certified, highly experienced with the use and operation of Omneon products in networked media environments, and use appropriate tools to measure, record, and report on network performance -- providing customers with the highest level of confidence and expertise. Omneon offers project management services to assist in the smooth integration of Omneon products into customer environments. Omneon Project Managers will coordinate closely with engineering and installation staff, system integrators and other suppliers as required to ensure a smooth system integration process. This service is available for upgrades, as well as for new system installations. Omneon Project Managers:
Pre-Packaged Project Management: Omneon Project Management Services are offered in three pre-packaged tiers, depending on the size and complexity of the installation. All three tiers include project management attention to the specific tasks listed above, as needed for the specific project. The project time allotted for each tier is appropriate to the scope and complexity for that tier.
Complex Projects: Omneon can engage with a customer's Project Team to provide a custom quotation for Project Management services tailored to specific needs. Project management is effective in smoothing the implementation process, ensuring a predictable project schedule to improve adherence to project milestones, and reducing the risk of potential problems at launch.
Omneon offers dedicated Project Engineering Services for larger, more complex, longer-term projects for which there is a requirement for dedicated Field Service Engineering resources for the duration of a specific customer project. Project Engineering Services are normally offered as part of a larger project that includes Project Management and a negotiation of a customized Statement of Work (SOW). Project Engineering deliverables and key project milestones often include the development and delivery of items such as; Acceptance Test Plans (ATPs), Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), detailed system design and ‘as built' drawings, and other system specific documentation.
Omneon offers Dedicated Service Engineering services for those customers with complex or critical operating environments who desire to augment their own technical engineering staff with a dedicated Omneon field service engineer. An Omneon Dedicated Service Engineer (DSE) is based locally and can be focused solely on one customer's operations or be shared among a small number of local or regional customers. An Omneon DSE provides customers with the assurance of on-site dedicated technical expertise, with the key knowledge, skills, and experience to maintain, service and support the complete range of Omneon products.
